Hi Carrie.
A little baby girl graced us with her presence on 15 October. So happy with how the birth went. Got to 8 cm and she decided through labour to turn posterior and slightly transverse. It was so intense and couldn't work through the pain of that! My feet and hands and lips were blue and Sam said my eyes were in the back of my head . He was pretty distressed seeing me like that. So got a low dose epidural to take the edge of and was able to relax a little and she then turned back to normal position. Epidural wore off for pushing so was able to squat on the bed to give birth. I was able to get up straight after and shower. Even tho I needed intervention I'm still so proud of myself and even Sam! He was the most supportive partner and I didn't need to tell him to do or stop anything he just instinctively knew and Hypnobirthing really allowed him to help me. He would have been lost without it. So thank u so much for all your help and can't wait to bring her in and show u. Jenna xx |
