Hi Carrie,
I thought I'd let you know that on the 16th April 2015 Jason and I welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Alexander Javier Garcia, into this world. We birthed Alexander at home and it was just magical. I was able to use the breathing techniques learnt in the active birth yoga and the hypnobirthing course that we did together, throughout the labour. I was able to really go into myself, it all just felt so right. We had the placenta encapsulated soon after the birth and I also had a raw placenta smoothie, both of which have all helped my energy to bounce back and my milk to flow in abundance. Alexander is a very healthy and happy baby, he weighed a healthy 4.135 kgs and was 51 cms tall. He is our beautiful, gentle giant! We are so excited to share our home birth experience with more people and empower more women and couples to seek this as a first option for birth. All the best, Liz, Jason and Alexander |
