Luca born at SCUH, 28 Dec 2019

Hi Carrie

Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year! 

Just wanted to let you know that we had our beautiful son Luca on the 28th December, 5 days before due date. The labour was quick and intense. Only 6 hours this time!  It was a drug free water birth with no stitches. We did have a little complication at the end with the placenta cord being wrapped around Luca's neck with his hand together.

The doctors had to do resuscitation on him but it was all quick and he is well and healthy. We used everything you taught Pete and I at your classes (with music, candles, dark light and positions) and it helped so much! I'm so glad for choosing to use hypnobirthing for this birth!

Thank you so much for all your support, care and knowledge you provided us with. Overall I can say that it was a perfect birth experience for me!
