marley heather born at sunshine coast university hospital, kawana 1 may 2017

Brad and I are so very proud to announce the arrival of our beautiful baby girl - Marley Heather Drysdale. I would love to share my story with you as your classes and hypnobirthing really helped us to stay calm, focused and centred. I even remember saying to Brad "I want Carrie" at one stage at the hospital.

I ended up being induced at 38 weeks due to growth restriction concerns - and as suspected the hospital wanted to implement one intervention after the other, but we remained in control and declined everything other than the catheter.

My water's were broken at 12:30 pm on Monday 1st and Marley was born - unassisted - not too long afterwards at 3:06 am - weighing in at 2.41 kg. I can't wait to catch up and have a chat with you when we settle in - and I hope to start yoga as soon as my body is ready!!
