Hi Carrie!

Welcome to the world Lilly Kathleen Partleton.

​Born 18.04.18 weighing a tiny 2.6 kg. She’s a wee bit early but mumma and bub are healthy and doing really well.

Spontaneous natural breech birth at 36 weeks! She came bum first. Waters released at 7 am, it was a speedy race to the hospital but my surges didn’t start until 11 (after I realised that I needed to relax and trust my body) and she was born at 1.43 pm.

I still powered through my hypnobirthing, trusted baby and my body and knew we could work together even though she wasn't in an ideal position. I had a crowd of very interested midwives watching (not until the last 2 pushes though, I didn't even realise)

My midwife was excellent, little interference and let me do my thing, I think she even knew I could birth with out the obstetrician having to interfere. I literally felt the urge to bear down as soon as he left the room.

Thank you for what you initially taught me with my first birth. I truly believe that it has made all 3 of my births beautiful stories to remember. And are each very different but very special.
