Nixon, born at Buderim Hospital on 27 November 2013

My HypnoBirth was exactly the same as the movies you showed us, absolutely an amazing experience.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I have been meaning to text you to tell you we had a 7 lb 4 oz baby boy Nixon Oliver last Wednesday at 2.37pm, and well, I still haven’t come off a high!

My HypnoBirth was exactly the same as the movies you showed us, absolutely an amazing experience. 

I started having light surges at 7.30am, so I finished packing my bags and had a lovely breakfast at home with Grant and little Marli, then went in the lounge room to get on my fit ball and put on the rainbow relaxation CD. 

Before I knew it, it was 1.45pm and I felt that it was time to go to the hospital.  We arrived at 2pm and went straight into the birthing room where my waters broke and I was ready to push straight away.  We had a couple of moments where Grant had to try and have some polite discussions with one of the staff members to make them leave me alone.  He insisted to them that I get in the bath with the CD on and 4 surges later little Nixon was born, so straight forward and exactly as I had visualised my birth, no stitches and one week on I feel well recovered and Nixon is as cruisy as can be.  One of the 2 midwives that I had was fantastic and completely happy to follow the HypnoBirthing method.
