I want to share with you how yoga has helped me through the struggles of life and motherhood and how it continues to support me daily
When I first started teaching Pregnancy Yoga seven years ago, I had no idea how big my home-based business would grow - and how quickly! Whilst I absolutely LOVE teaching Pregnancy Yoga, Mums & Bubs and Restorative Yoga, I know a stronger, more fluid practice will play a huge role in supporting you physically and emotionally as you continue to grow as a mother. You see, I first discovered Yoga 18 years ago, after the birth of my second child, and it soon became a weekly appointment that kept me stable, grounded and able to cope with the mayhem motherhood can bring. It also gave me an escape, a place to slow down physically and mentally.
I've felt more and more distant from all of you once you've moved on and headed into the wild ride of motherhood.
This Reconnect class is something I've been thinking of for some time - a time and place to reconnect with each other semi-regularly but most importantly, to offer you the space to reconnect to yourself. A powerful, fluid Vinyasa style of class can offer you an experience where you come out feeling challenged, strong, in control, yet peaceful and grounded - a practice that can leave you feeling changed from a very deep level.
As I step into my 9th year of teaching, I want to really reach out to all of you who have attended my classes previously, many of you who were new to yoga during pregnancy, and have possible never practised since. I want to share with you how yoga helped me through the struggles of life and how it continues to support me daily - not just as a physical practice, but by how it helps us OFF the mat and how we can bring the benefits into our lives and our families.
And I would love you to do the same with me. To show up, to dive in, to explore, to enquire, to learn, move, breathe and come home to yourself!
I know it will feel like a reunion with old friends! When we get to sync our breath and movement together as a group, so many shifts and changes can take place.
These 2 hour classes will include a Vinyasa-style flow with yin and restorative poses woven through to create a balanced session to build physical strength and mental focus. We will explore breathwork and meditation too.
