Joymamma Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training (85 hr RPYT)
1. Training Fee & Payment
Total Program Fee: $1,750 AUD
A non-refundable deposit of $450 AUD is required to secure your place. The remaining balance of $1,300 AUD is due prior to the training commencement date, as outlined at enrolment.
Please choose carefully. Once payment has been made, refunds are not available except as outlined below. The applicable program fee is the price displayed at the time of enrolment.

2. Cancellations & Withdrawals
Once the training has commenced, no refunds, transfers, or credits are issued. If you need to withdraw due to medical reasons, please notify Joymamma in writing via email ([email protected]) and provide a medical certificate. At Joymamma’s discretion, any remaining training components may be deferred to a future intake.
Joymamma reserves the right to adjust training dates or call times in the event of illness, travel disruption, or unforeseen circumstances. Where changes are required, reasonable notice will be provided.

3. Training Structure & Access
The Joymamma Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training is designed as a guided six-month learning journey, beginning currently in March or September.
Upon commencement, students will receive access to the online learning platform, where all training lessons, resources, and assignments are hosted.

Students are expected to engage with the training progressively, completing two lessons per month across the six-month guided learning period.

- self-paced online lessons and assignments
- six live Training Assessment & Mentoring Calls conducted via Zoom (Yoga Alliance requirement)

4. Assignments & Progression
Each lesson includes an associated assignment, which must be submitted and marked before progressing to the next lesson.
All assignments are assessed by Lead Trainer, Carrie Jeff, with written feedback provided.
A minimum pass mark of 85% is required for each assignment. Where needed, guidance and support are offered to assist with revisions.
To participate in each live Training Assessment & Mentoring Call, students are required to have completed and received feedback on the two scheduled lessons for that month. In exceptional circumstances, partial completion may be discussed with the lead trainer in advance.
All assignments are assessed by Lead Trainer, Carrie Jeff, with written feedback provided.

5. Training Assessment & Mentoring Calls
Students are required to participate in six live Training Assessment & Mentoring Calls during their training.
These calls:
Attendance at six Training Assessment & Mentoring Calls is essential for certification.

- take place during a designated Monthly Mentoring Week, scheduled in the final week of each month. Exact dates are communicated to enrolled students in advance.
- are cohort-specific
- are held in AEST time
- provide teaching observation, feedback, and integration (a Yoga Alliance requirement)
Attendance at six Training Assessment & Mentoring Calls is essential for certification.
6. Missed Calls & Make-Up Policy
Life circumstances can arise. If a student is unable to attend one scheduled Training Assessment Call, a private 1:1 make-up session may be arranged at an additional fee of $250 AUD.
If more than one Training Assessment Call is missed, training completion will be deferred to the next intake, where remaining certification requirements can be completed. Graduate Mentorship Calls cannot be used as assessment make-ups.

7. Completion & Certification
To be eligible for certification, students must:
- complete all training lessons and assignments
- achieve a minimum pass mark of 85% on all assignments
- participate in six observed Training Assessment Calls (or approved make-ups)
8. Graduate Mentorship Pathway
Upon successful completion of the training, graduates enter the Joymamma Graduate Mentorship Pathway, a 12-month, non-assessed support program.

- includes monthly live mentorship calls
- is separate from training assessment and certification requirements
9. Training Materials
All training materials are provided digitally via the online learning platform. Optional printed training manuals may be purchased separately. Printed manuals are produced and posted in scheduled batches. Delivery timing may vary.
10. Accreditation
Joymamma’s Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training is a Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS) with Yoga Alliance.
Upon completion of the 85-hour training, students receive a certificate from Joymamma RPYS, which can be used toward eligibility to register as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) with Yoga Alliance.
Yoga Alliance RPYT credentialing also requires:
Becoming a RPYT with Yoga Alliance acknowledges you as an expert and professional and is the highest accreditation available in this speciality area of teaching. Registration with Yoga Alliance is managed independently by the graduate.
Upon completion of the 85-hour training, students receive a certificate from Joymamma RPYS, which can be used toward eligibility to register as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) with Yoga Alliance.
Yoga Alliance RPYT credentialing also requires:
- completion of a Yoga Alliance–registered 200-hour or 350-hour teacher training
- a minimum of 30 hours teaching prenatal yoga post-certification
Becoming a RPYT with Yoga Alliance acknowledges you as an expert and professional and is the highest accreditation available in this speciality area of teaching. Registration with Yoga Alliance is managed independently by the graduate.
11. General
Joymamma reserves the right to update training content, schedules, or delivery methods as required to maintain quality, integrity, and compliance. By enrolling in the Joymamma Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
