Joymamma Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training
1. Training Pathways & Payment
Joymamma Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training is offered through two pathways:
60-Hour Professional Development (Online Only)
$695 AUD
85-Hour Certification (RPYT Pathway)
$1,245 AUD
Students may choose to:
Upgrade to Certification
Students who begin with the 60-hour training may upgrade to the 85-hour certification by paying the additional practicum and certification fee.
Full payment is required at the time of enrolment.
Access to online training materials is provided following enrolment and completion of the registration process.
Due to the digital nature of the training and access to course materials, fees are non-refundable except as outlined below.
The applicable program fee is the price displayed at the time of enrolment.
- enrol in the 60-hour online training as a standalone professional development course
- enrol directly in the 85-hour certification pathway
- begin with the 60-hour training and upgrade to certification at a later stage

2. Cancellations & Withdrawals
Due to the digital nature of the training and access to program materials, refunds are not generally available once enrolment has commenced.
If you need to withdraw due to significant medical circumstances, please notify Joymamma in writing via email ([email protected]). A medical certificate may be requested.
At Joymamma’s discretion, remaining training components may be deferred to a future Seasonal Mentoring Intensive window where appropriate.
Joymamma reserves the right to adjust training schedules, practicum dates, or live session timing in the event of illness, travel requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable notice will be provided.

3. Training Structure & Access
The training is delivered through an enrol-anytime, self-paced online format.
Upon enrolment and completion of the registration process, students receive access to the online learning platform, where lessons, resources, assignments and training materials are hosted.
Training includes:
Students are encouraged to move steadily through the training, allowing time to practise, integrate and develop confidence.

- self-paced online lessons and written assignments (Modules 1–4)
- a live practicum component (for 85-hour certification students only), delivered through Seasonal Mentoring Intensives
- entry into the Graduate Mentorship Pathway upon completion of the 85-hour certification pathway

4. Assignments & Progression
Each lesson includes an associated written assignment.
Assignments must be submitted and reviewed before progressing to the next lesson.
All written assignments are personally reviewed by Lead Trainer Carrie Jeff, with feedback and guidance provided.
A minimum pass mark of 85% is required. Where needed, revisions are offered to support successful completion.
This process is designed to support safe, confident and real-world teaching readiness.
Assignments must be submitted and reviewed before progressing to the next lesson.
All written assignments are personally reviewed by Lead Trainer Carrie Jeff, with feedback and guidance provided.
A minimum pass mark of 85% is required. Where needed, revisions are offered to support successful completion.

5. Live Mentored Teaching Practicum (85-Hour Certification Only)
The live mentored teaching practicum is required for students completing the 85-hour certification pathway.
This component includes a total of 13 live contact hours:
Practicum sessions are offered through Seasonal Mentoring Intensives held periodically throughout the year, typically aligned with:
February • June • October
Sessions may be delivered online in small groups or in-person (Sunshine Coast, QLD), depending on availability.
These sessions focus on observation, feedback, and the development of safe, confident prenatal teaching.
This component includes a total of 13 live contact hours:
- 12 hours Mentored Teaching Practicum
- 1 hour Integration & Closing Circle
Practicum sessions are offered through Seasonal Mentoring Intensives held periodically throughout the year, typically aligned with:
February • June • October
Sessions may be delivered online in small groups or in-person (Sunshine Coast, QLD), depending on availability.
These sessions focus on observation, feedback, and the development of safe, confident prenatal teaching.
5a. Online Session Privacy
Live online practicum sessions are not to be recorded, reproduced or shared without written permission.
6. Eligibility to Book Live Practicum Sessions
To support safety and readiness:
Students completing the 85-hour certification pathway must complete Modules 1–2 (the first six lessons) before attending any live practicum sessions.
Places are limited and booking is offered once eligibility requirements are met.

7. Missed Sessions & Completion Policy
To maintain training integrity:
Students who do not complete within this timeframe may be required to transfer to a future intake or re-enrol in components as required.

- the full training (including lessons, assignments and live hours) must be completed within 12 months of enrolment

8. Completion & Certification
To be eligible for 85-hour certification, students must:
Certificates are issued once all requirements have been met within the 12-month completion period.
- complete all lessons and written assignments
- achieve a minimum pass mark of 85%
- complete all required live practicum hours
- attend the Integration & Closing Circle

9. Graduate Mentorship Pathway
Upon completion of the 85-hour certification pathway, graduates are invited into the Joymamma Graduate Mentorship Pathway - a 12-month, non-assessed mentorship space designed to support ongoing integration and real-world teaching.
Graduate Mentorship:
Participation is optional and does not affect certification status.
Graduate Mentorship:
- includes optional live mentorship calls offered at various times throughout the year, often aligned with Seasonal Mentoring Intensives
- includes ongoing guidance via email or written support
- is separate from certification requirements

10. Training Materials
All training materials are provided digitally via the online learning platform. Optional printed training manuals may be purchased separately. Printed manuals are produced and posted in scheduled batches. Delivery timing may vary.
11. Accreditation
Joymamma is a Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS) with Yoga Alliance.
Students who complete the 85-hour certification pathway receive an 85-hour certificate which may be used toward eligibility to register as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT).
Yoga Alliance credentialing also requires:
Registration with Yoga Alliance is managed independently by the graduate.
Students who complete the 85-hour certification pathway receive an 85-hour certificate which may be used toward eligibility to register as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT).
Yoga Alliance credentialing also requires:
- completion of a Yoga Alliance-registered 200-hour or 350-hour teacher training
- a minimum of 30 hours teaching prenatal yoga post-certification
Registration with Yoga Alliance is managed independently by the graduate.
12. General
Joymamma reserves the right to update training content, schedules, or delivery methods as required to maintain quality, integrity and compliance.
